You have seen the team using the Quatro® SuperMini and the Compact & Light boards from Ho’okipa to Sylt for a few years now, with the back strap almost off the tail, and carrying Marcilio to his fourth World Title from On-Shore to Side-Shore; now all that and more is available.
As soon as we finished the new Custom Quad and Custom Thruster development, we jumped directly into the Nitro’s, applying all the same geometry and rail fluid dynamics. Dozens of prototypes led to all-new shapes and a revolutionary compact design with World Cup-winning performance.
With years of evolution, generation 2 of the Nitro Pro is our pinnacle All-Around, Fast, Compact Wave Board. Improved efficiency and volume distribution with reduced friction and increased water flow allowed us to shorten the new Nitro Pro without losing the previous generation’s speed. Through its improved geometry, placing the rider right on the tail allows it to fit into the tightest sections of the wave, right where we want to be, but with more speed and control under our feet. A word on weight, custom-size US boxes for reduced drag and adjustability, and a removed deck sticker for lightness and sustainability.
Nitro Pro 2 and Custom Quad & Thruster are kindred spirits. While not fully identical, their shapes are highly related yet specifically cater to their conditions and fin setups. So, if anyone likes one, they will most definitely like the other.
Construction.
Considerably more affordable, by using a wood sandwich build combined with multiple layers of unidirectional and biaxial glass on the deck and bottom, the Volar Club guarantees supreme durability, making it a favorite with windsurfing centers around the world. In addition, a high-grade epoxy resin creates an impact resistant outer skin. This combination means the Volar Club can take heavy beatings over an extended period of time, for example in school or rental scenarios. An integrated nose reinforcement is built into the layup.
Shape.
Fine-tuned to work as a Quad on the three smaller sizes and as a Thruster on the two larger ones without compromise.
Pads.
Dual-density pads, redesigned from the ground up, provide better grip and comfort. A new layout and optimized dual-density blend mean you have the right support and cushioning where you need it while saving weight and minimizing drag. The new patterns are angled in the right direction to give you maximum grip and connection to the board.
Fins.
The new NITRO now comes with MFC® Carbon Quad and Thruster TF fins. Their carbon‑composite lay‑up delivers crisp, consistent flex for instant acceleration, early planing, and agile turns. A slimmer Quad core and the Thrusters TF’s tip channel (1 mm) keep the board fast and locked‑in across every condition.

Bottom

Outline
With the wider tail block, we could maintain a more parallel outline, which increases speed.
Rocker
Higher nose entry adds to the maneuverability, and a lower tail rocker creates support/power, adding to the earlier planning and a super fast top end.
Rails
More surfy and forgiving up front, sharp, fast at the back. Thicker with a fuller rail at the front of the mast track, with accelerated tapering towards the tail, reduces drag.
Nose
A lighter, more pointed nose for maximum control, even when carving full nose-to-tail underwater.
Tail
A Wider Drop swallow tail for added support, release, and range. Quad 79, 85, 91 liters & Thruster 99 (Displayed), 109 liters

CNC Custom Technology.
One hundred percent identical to the most high-end custom-made boards, built by us on Maui since 1994. Precision CNC is shaped and hand-built to our standards, and every model adheres to the non-stop evolving technologies we have developed and pioneered.
Fin boxes & Mast Track.
All new bespoke Quatro® US fin and mast track boxes, designed in-house and exclusive to Goya and Quatro, are lighter and stronger than conventional boxes. A completely new design, we have created a much lighter and stronger US Box. 4 x 5.5-inch US Boxes and 7 7-inch mast track box. 50% lighter. 100g saving per box.
Tail Pad Kick.
All new surf-inspired kick by KT Surfing ® to save weight. The tail kick gives you that locked-in feel, grip, and confidence during maneuvers and turns.
Foot Straps.
New look: latest generation MFC foot straps with size measurement guides on both Velcro pieces ensure you always get the exact size you need.
Inserts.
Double foot strap inserts on the back strap for better durability and a more locked-in feel.
Vent Plug.
Standard vent screw facilitates travel and provides longevity.
Recycled Cardboard Packaging.
We take care and take pride in sourcing sustainable packaging solutions whenever possible, such as cardboard over plastic.
