Advanced Private Lessons

Bring your own equipment. Brush up on your skills or learn new ones with our highly skilled and trained private instructors. Customize your experience and meet with your instructor at the Hook Lesson Center, Hood River Waterfront Park, or Viento State Park!

Private Windsurf Foil Lessons
$200, 2 hour lesson *Gear NOT Included
Learn to rise in light winds, fly in control, and jibe without touching down with veteran Big Winds’ instructor David Kao. Customize your experience and meet with your instructor at the Hook Lesson Center, or Hood River Waterfront Park!
– Gear Tuning: Maximize your board, foil and sail setup.
– Takeoff Tips: Improve your pumping, and lower your wind minimums.
– Flying Level: Enhance your flight control in gusts, lulls, and chop.
– Foil Jibing: Stay aloft throughout, and dial in your foot work.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations within 48 hours of your lesson will be offered a 50% refund. No Shows will not receive a refund. Full refunds will be offered for cancellations made over 48 hours in advance or to customers who had their lessons cancelled for low wind.
NO WIND POLICY
If there is no wind on the day of your lesson you receive a full refund.

Our private Beginner/Intermediate Windsurfing lessons allow a student to add a friend or family member to their class. Our goal is to provide a private setting that maximizes progression, and fun.
