THE STARBOARD KODE. DECODED.

Efficient flat mid-rocker into a very smooth curve under the standing area acts like an accelerator pedal and lets you ride into cruise control. Thin rails provide bite. Without grab. Double concave under the nose area boosts planing, smoothing your ride in aggressive conditions. Vee concave mid section feeds a pronounced tail Vee, empowers the Kode with more wave board turning ability than a crossover board. The 2024 Starboard Kode sensation. Different from any other Kode range ever developed. Combines more wave riding and blasting ability than any predecessors.

Thruster for reactive turns and wave action. Single fin for early planing and fun, fast freeride. All Carbon Sandwich Kodes are supplied with both thruster and single fin set options Wood Sandwich Kode 95 & 105 supplied with thruster fins. Larger Kodes supplied with single fin.

VERSATILITY. BUILT IN

All 2024 Starboard Kode come equipped with Powerbox centre and lightweight Starbox side thruster fin boxes except the 85 liters with a US box due to the slim tail. Faster assembly, more accurate fin setup and tuning… Our Starbox is compatible with US box fins.

Premium Drake footstraps manufactured from certified natural Yulex-foam, the smoothest fabric for a comfortable ride. Under your feet,10mm thick footpads with diamond grooving pattern provide positive grip, maximising comfort over extended sessions while being resistant to wear-and-tear.

CARBON SANDWICH, PERFORMANCE X VALUE

Each Kode underside is laminated in full T700 unidirectional flat-woven carbon for optimized flex, while the deck is 60% carbon, alternating between unidirectional and bi-axial carbon.
Advanced composite sandwich layers utilise only high grade PVC foam, enhancing performance, strength and durability. The result is the lightest construction delivering a structurally strong board offering a precise, controlled and responsive ride. Comfortable, direct and efficient.

It’s time to bring back this technology while reducing our CO2 footprint. Full wood sandwich lamination of 0.6mm Australian Pinewood, ensures durability and comfort in a good strength to weight ratio. Today’s wood is less visible in modern graphics; UV protected by fresh blue paint and stickers that compliment the natural grain with a really nice effect. A classy re-edition of a classic Starboard Original.

Kode 85, 95 and 105 accelerate quicker with increased area behind the fin. This lift is balanced with more nose area, creating a super smooth ride in choppy waters. Manoeuvrability is enhanced by the added curve around the front footstraps. The new Kode hip outline makes bottom turns and jibes notably more engaging and flowing.

Tracking info is shared via email within 72 hours of most orders being placed. Be sure to check spam or "Promotions" folder in your Inbox, as sometimes our messages land there.

No Tracking Info Displays on Shipper's Website ...

It can take 48 hours for tracking info to display. Rest assured, your package is en route. Make sure to enter the BOL # (Bill of Lading) with no spaces in the tracking field.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico?

Yes, we have shipped to these locations for decades by quote. Please share your address, the item(s) you needed shipped, and if an airport cargo depot pickup is possible.

Canada and International Locations?

We ship to Canada lots, and the Caribbean some. Get a quote. We rarely ship items to Europe, Asia, and Australia as it's spendy. Quotes for international orders do not include import duties.

How Can I Be Sure My Board Arrives Intact?

Opt for our $99 "To Nearby Airport" shipping option at checkout. It relies on passenger planes, and offers our safest delivery. More far below.

What if My Board Arrives Damaged?

We'll work with our shipping partner to get you a repair credit or a replacement board. Please send photos of the damaged board (and box) to shipping@bigwinds.com.

My board made it ...

But no foot straps, fins, or vent plug?

Look closely through the packaging. Fins, foot straps and vent plugs are often concealed in a sheath of cardboard that's easy to discard. Also, check inside the board box, and shake the box to be sure. You'll likely dislodge a small box containing the missing items.

We'll work with freight partners for the lowest possible rate. Delivery time is 7-10 business days. Quotes typically land in the $350 - $500 range, though Big Winds will often cover a portion of this fee. Get a quote.

International Board Delivery

Board shipping rates for most international destinations are extremely pricey. But we can ship boards to Canada for as low as $275 plus duties and taxes. We can also stow your board for an upcoming Gorge visit, and help with a board bag and packing materials to ensure it flies home with you safely.
