Constructed with UD Prepreg carbon / biax glass + dual expansion foam core, the Carbon Mast is lighter and tougher than ever before, granting a locked-in ride at all speeds and peak control at any turning radius. The tapered mast design reduces the wetted surf area at an advanced riding level, in turn accelerating the initiation of the foil and assisting in an increase of overall speed during flight. The changed layup of the mast presents a perfect balance between both overall and torsional stiffness, dramatically improved over its predecessors, assisted by the variable core to keep the mast as thin as possible.
