HIGH ASPECT FRONT WINGS
The Vario is Lift’s new high-aspect front wing series, available in four sizes from 90 to 180. Built on the same span and aspect ratio foundations that made the HA-X line a go-to for years, the Vario introduces the Vario Twist — a geometric design change implemented by Nick that reshapes how lift is distributed across the wing. The result is a high-aspect wing that holds through a carve.
FRONT TWIST
Every high-aspect wing generates most of its lift toward the center and less toward the tips. What happens at those tips under load is where wings are made or lost. On the HA-X, the tips carried enough lift to perform — but push a carve hard enough and the tip would let go. Not dangerously, but it sacrificed the turn. Experienced riders knew where the edge was and respected it. The Vario Twist changes that relationship. By bringing the center of lift closer to the middle of the wing, the tips stay planted as load increases through a bank rather than releasing. You can carve more, get more turns out of the wing, and maintain the glide the HA-X was known for.
