Nick’s Take:

I took this hat down to Baja and rode it hard. I really like this hat and without it I would have lost 2 pairs of sunglasses instead of just one. no longer do you have to tie your sunnies to your shirt or whatnot… these bad bois float. I slip my Sunny retainer (a strip of duct tape) around the snaps and never have to worry about losing either hat nor glasses again. Conveniently my hat and glasses stay together after the session too when things often get misplaced at the local watering hole.

High Vis, High Float. Good Combo. The hat is comfortable and a good shape for heads. The deep pocket makes it stay on even when ripping into the wind.

Would recommend it for all wind sports and sports on or near water, but it will not replace a helmet. best for the sunny chill days and to leave it in the whip when there’s smoke on the water.
