Goya One 3 Pro Thruster Windsurf Board 2021
Our most progressive free-wave board, blending free-riding, bump and jump, waves and freestyle performance. New with more parallel outlines.
Discontinued
The new parallel outlines improve agility and comfort on longer, choppy runs, while the resulting added tail area improves stability, early planing and comfort. All sizes now come with a swallow tail. A slightly lower entry rocker allows the board to naturally glide into a plane. The volume in the new One 3 Pro is more equally distributed along the board’s profile, to create a more stable and evenly planing hull. Incorporating a shallower V and double concave into its bottom shape increases acceleration and planing surface. All sizes are now available with Mini Tuttle side fins and Power Box center fin, for their lightness, simplicity of use, and effective compatibility with larger fins sizes.
Pro Carbon Monocoque Construction.
Available in 85, 95, 105, 115 liters.
Neon red & blue on metallic red.
Powerbox center and Mini Tuttle side finboxes.
Fused Cell Core
Goya boards come with a Fused Cell Core made from EPS. Fused Cell Expanded Polystyrene is a high quality, low weight, rigid, closed cell foam used in advanced modern production boardmaking.
Hyper Skin HD
The entire board is covered in Hyper Skin HD. Hyper Skin is Goya’s proprietary High Density Foam Sandwich, delivering an immensely rigid structure at an extremely light weight. Covering deck, rails and bottom in it, gives Goya Pro boards their incomparable flex and longevity. A third stronger, stiffer and lighter than conventional boards.
Biaxial Carbon & Unidirectional Carbon
Extensive patches of biaxial carbon connect the peak loads of your feet to the rest of the deck, distributing the forces resulting from jumping and waveriding evenly. Additionally, a long and wide deck carbon patch acts as a superior backbone, making you board stiffer and eliminating distortions.
Full S-Glass Hull
S-Glass covers the board 360°. S-Glass provides higher strength and elasticity compared to standard glass, while maintaining more flex than Carbon. Flex is a super important secret to an outstanding Wave board.

What’s new for the 2020 Goya One 3 Pro?
- New outline: Longer midsection of parallel rails to improve ride through chop.
- Added tail volume for improved stability and planing.
- Revised bottom shape with lower entry rocker for smoother acceleration.
What I Liked: In a word, horsepower. The wind died as I hit the water. The video shows what happened next. In what smacked of wind foiling weather, the 2020 Goya One 3 Pro 86 burst onto a plane, hit jaw-loosening top speeds, blasted through lulls, and – most surprisingly – encouraged jumps. The latter wouldn’t be a big deal except I was using a minuscule 4.2 meter sail. The Goya One 3 Pro didn’t demand much sail power to come alive underfoot, perhaps thanks to its added tail volume. Rigging small, riding with sail power that’s light in hand — my 47-year-old joints enjoyed this dynamic. Less load on the body. More margin for error in maneuvers. Fun fun. As for jibes and swell slashing, all that horsepower didn’t seem to carry carving penalties. That said, there wasn’t much swell to carve up.
What I Didn’t Like: Hard to find a flaw in a board that saved a skunking, and did so in dramatic fashion. I ended the day derigging my 4.2 alongside riders who had been using 5.5 and 6.0 meter sails.
Board Best Suits: Bump and jump, real-world waves — the Goya One 3 Pro’s blend of early planing, impressive speed, and agility seems an unbeatable fit. Also a great option for those who are done with the macho days “rigging big”.
Availability: The 2020 Goya One 3 Pro Thruster Freewave Team Edition models are available now in 86, 95, 105 and 115 liter sizes.
Notes
- Gotta love Goya for keeping it simple. The 2020 Goya One 3 Thruster Freewave board line is only available in one construction: carbon monocoque.

But no foot straps, fins, or vent plug?
Look closely through the packaging. Fins, foot straps and vent plugs are often concealed in a sheath of cardboard that's easy to discard. Also, check inside the board box, and shake the box to be sure. You'll likely dislodge a small box containing the missing items.
