Level 1 Group Lessons
$200 per person, 2 Hour Group Lesson

Lessons take place in a protected lagoon so learning and fun are present throughout! Our professional and experienced instructors will get you windsurfing in no time. In this first time lesson, you will learn to:
– Sail in Safety Position
– 180 degree turns
– Get underway with two hands on the boom
– Self rescue when you fall

Level 2 Group Lessons
$200 per person, 2 Hour Group Lesson

You’ve had your first taste and are ready for more! This lesson is great for people coming off a level 1 lesson earlier in the summer, or for casual learners who have not windsurfed in a while. In this lesson, you will learn to:
– Power Steer
– Sail upwind
– Make faster turns
– Power up your stance to handle bigger sails & higher speeds

Intermediate Private Lessons
$200 per person, 2 Hour Private Lesson

You’ve been bitten by the windsurfing bug and are ready for the next step! This lesson can be taken as many times as needed to cover the skills necessary to get you river ready. Skills covered in this lesson include:
– Intro to the Harness
– Longboard Fast Tacks & Pivot Jibes
– Beach Starts
– Water Starts
Advanced Private Lessons
$200, 2 hour private lesson *Gear NOT Included
Bring your own equipment. Brush up on your skills or learn new ones with our highly skilled and trained private instructors. Customize your experience and meet with your instructor at the Hook Lesson Center, Hood River Waterfront Park, or Viento State Park!
– River Ready: take your first steps into the main channel!

– Short Board Sailing Stance

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations within 48 hours of your lesson will be offered a 50% refund. No Shows will not receive a refund. Full refunds will be offered for cancellations made over 48 hours in advance or to customers who had their lessons cancelled for low wind.
NO WIND POLICY
If there is no wind on the day of your lesson you can either reschedule or receive a full refund.
