The Duotone Super Hero HD delivers unbeatable handling, neutrality, and the lowest weight without sacrificing durability. We can truly claim that it is the most versatile wave sail with the widest possible wind range that we have ever built. That‘s why we unabashedly recommend it for all conditions and all rider weights. For 2024, we refined the Super Hero HD with the size specific draft positions. Sails in sizes 5.0 and larger feature a slightly higher draft position to facilitate earlier planning and a lighter feel. Smaller sizes utilize a lower, more central draft position to maximize control. This is why the Super Hero HD is beloved in all wave conditions around the globe. It’s smooth, unshakeable power saves rider energy, is as responsive as a 3-batten sail in float and ride conditions yet has real bite at the decisive moment. The Super Hero HD embodies our “Light Done Right” construction, which in 2022 saw a modified panel layout, reinforcement patches with high-strength high-modulus fibers, and a new mast sleeve construction. Designer Kai Hopf achieved a weight reduction of 200 to 300g! Unlike other brands, the thickness of the fabric and film used was not reduced, nor was durability compromised. That‘s exactly why we call it “Light Done Right”. Every single size of the Duotone Super Hero HD is perfectly tuned to the last detail. The batten rotation remains buttery smooth even with minimal clew tension and the top works very actively, swallowing hard gusts and supporting acceleration. With the Super Hero HD, you can confidently choose a smaller sail size than many other wave sails.
