Our 4-day wind sport camp in the Columbia River Gorge prioritizes fun and safety, and gets kids windsurfing and wing surfing in no time.
COMBO WINDSURF / WING SURF KIDS CAMP

Celebrating 35 years of happy campers , this 4-day program targets children ages 7 to 14, is all kinds of fun, and gets kids hooked!
Our secret? A protected lagoon, lightweight gear, and engaged, enthusiastic instructors (many are former campers).
DETAILS
Duration: 4 days
Location: Big Winds Windsurf Center (The Hook)
Morning Camp: 10 am – 1 pm
Afternoon Camp: 2 pm – 5 pm
Curriculum: 2 days of windsurfing (180 turns, upwind sailing);
option to then keep windsurfing or switch to wing surfing (no foil) for final 2 days.
Included: everything to get riding – wetsuit, booties, PFD and helmet.
What to bring: Water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit and a towel.

ADVANCED JUNIOR WINDSURFING CAMP

This camp takes aim at water starting, along with harness and foot strap use.
It takes place just outside the Hook, in deeper, more open water.

Duration: 4 days
Location: Big Winds Windsurf Center (the Hook)
Afternoon Camp: 2pm – 5pm
Curriculum: Water starts, harness and foot strap use
Includes: Everything to get riding – wetsuit, booties, PFD and helmet
What to bring: Water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit and a towel
PREREQUISITES
At least 10 years of age, strong swimmers
Prior Kids Camp required (or other similar experience)
Experience beach starting; comfortable staying up wind & 180 turns

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made within 7 days of your camp session will be offered a 50% refund. No Shows or cancellations made after the start of camp will not receive a refund. Full refunds will be offered for cancellations over one week in advance.
