Goya Banzai Surf 2 Pro Carbon Windsurfing Sail 2026
$963.00 – $1,160.00Price range: $963.00 through $1,160.00
Banzai Surf 2 Pro Carbon is the pinnacle performance expression of the Surf platform—built for maximum maneuver freedom, reflex response, and neutral wave connection.
Banzai Surf 2 Pro Carbon
World Cup Surf Wave.
A neutral, flowing, and maneuver driven wave sail built for riders seeking effortless flow, clean depower, and the lightest, most responsive handling possible. The Banzai Surf 2 Pro Carbon sits at the maneuver-oriented end of the Banzai wave range, prioritizing drift, neutrality, release, and connected wave feel. Best for advanced wave riders seeking the lightest and most refined handling possible with exceptional drift and release. Draw your own lines. WWT and PWA World Cup approved.

DESCRIPTION
A shorter boom, lower clew, and lower centered lift keep the sail anchored close to the rider for maximum control and maneuverability.
Compared to the Banzai 12 and Max 2, the Surf 2 carries a slightly higher aspect ratio and more compact handling character, creating lighter rotational feel and tighter surf-style arcs.
Updated twist improves top-end smoothness while maintaining immediate release and clean depower through critical turns.
The result is effortless flow, neutral handling, and maximum freedom on the wave.
Pro Carbon is the pinnacle performance build way within the Goya range.
Developed for riders seeking the highest level of responsiveness, shape integrity, reflex response, and control under load.
Premium carbon laminates preserve the designed profile deeper into powered and demanding conditions, delivering faster response, cleaner release, and exceptional composure when performance matters most.
CONSTRUCTION
What began as targeted carbon reinforcement evolved into a complete structural philosophy centered around reflex response, load retention, and precision under pressure. Ultra-high-grade carbon laminates minimize elongation and maximize reflex response. Carbon stabilizes the sail profile while preserving immediate energy transfer and crisp release under load.
Body Panels. 1.5 mil Ultra low stretch linear Warp Carbon fiber laminate yarns arrayed to control load lines in the sail combined with super strong Technora Aramid X-Ply. Refined material orientation improves reflex response and energy transfer while maintaining composure through gusts, transitions, and extended use. Durability is built into the structure through carbon X-Ply body panels, reinforced foot materials, protected seams, and carefully controlled load paths. The goal is long-term confidence in handling, structure, and consistent performance. X-Ply Carbon also effectively prevents tears from traveling.
Foot Panels. Warp Carbon foot, tack and center luff panels. 2.0 mil Warp Carbon film combined with super strong Technora Aramid X-Ply yarns increase puncture resistance, minimize stretch, and help maintain sail shape in this critical high-load area. An additional carbon strip below the foot batten further stabilizes the foot panel under load. Nylon pulley rolls reduce weight and friction. The result is lighter handling, cleaner acceleration, increased stability, and a highly connected feel between rider, sail, and wave.
Window Panels. 6 mil Bi-Ply from Dimension-Polyant uses dual PET film layers for improved flex, softer feel, and reduced creasing. Integrated UV inhibitors significantly increase longevity compared to traditional monofilm.
Black Window Frame. The black window frame minimizes reflections and distractions for the clearest possible vision through the sail. Form follows function, and it has become a defining and unifying visual element across the range.

Outline
The compact outline, lower clew, and neutral lift create effortless maneuverability, lighter handling, and flowing surf-style freedom through every turn.
The lightweight 4-batten layout keeps the sail fast, reactive, and highly maneuverable while maintaining impressive stability and usable range across changing conditions.

Stretch Control
Carbon Radial Stretch Control further enhances stability, reflex response, and range by integrating low-stretch carbon tendons into the sail structure. The result is a more connected and precise feel with improved load retention and cleaner energy transfer.

CNC Battens
Lightweight, CAD shaped, CNC machined, ultra durable, custom thickness and tailored taper battens. Adding structural perfection to the material sophistication of our film panels.

Ripstop Sleeve
Around the main window, providing torsional strength, increased durability by reinforcing key load zones and blended transitions between different panel materials.

Aramid Poly Clew System
The Poly Clew System with Aramid attachment allows riders to fine-tune power, control, and maneuverability without changing sail size. The aramid attachment point provides exceptional durability with minimal weight.
