Completely Redesigned for Optimal Comfort, Fit, and Flexibility Recommended Water Temp: 40F/4C+ Sizing Guide: NOTE: GLOVES ARE RUNNING TRUE TO SIZE THIS YEAR. USE THIS GUIDE FOR SIZING. IF YOU ARE ON THE BORDER BETWEEN TWO SIZES, SIZE UP. Our entire Solite glove line for Fall 2022-Winter 2023 has been redesigned for improved fit and flexibility along with unmatched grip, durability, and warmth. The Solite 5:3 Split-Mitt is designed to keep your hands warm and flexible in all but the most arctic conditions. The 5:3 Split-Mitt Features: 3D-Grip Palm: The 5:3 Split-Mitt now features a more flexible 3D Grip Palm with better stretch to fit more hand shapes. The 3D Grip is a sticky, rail-grabbing compound with full palm/finger coverage to repel water and keep the glove light for max dexterity. The 3D coating insures long-term durability and grip, while interlocking triangle print allows the palm/fingers to stretch and flex with minimal strain. Split-Mitt Design: Unlike “lobster-claw” style gloves, our exclusive Split-Mitt design joins your pointer finger with your middle finger to insure the pointer finger stays warm. This simple but effective design allows you to have the same warmth as a mitten, without the clumsiness of all fingers in one pocket. The Split-Mitt is pre-shaped with a curve in the fingers for comfortable, natural paddling position and features a single back panel for max flexibility, durability, and comfort. Thermal-Rebound Lining: The 5:3 Split-Mitt features a unique Thermal-Rebound plush, quick-dry interior lining material. Thermal-Rebound material features a thin, flexible metallic grid-layer between the neoprene and the outer lining, reflecting body heat back to the skin for enhanced warmth. Lab tests on the Thermal Rebound laminate show an increase in insulation exceeding 10%, which extends your sessions and increases your odds of getting the wave of the day. Hex-Shield Back Panel: Our exclusive Hex-Shield Back Panel combines the water-shedding warmth of a unlined panel with the enhanced durability of laminated neoprene. Many gloves feature raw “mesh skin” neoprene panels which shed water for lightweight and warmth, BUT these unlined panels rip very easily without a laminate for strength. Our Hex Shield offers the best of both worlds: a durable, nylon-lined exterior with a full-panel lamination of water-proof ink. The hex-pattern print insures max flexibility while still absorbing sunlight and repelling water. All this is done in a single panel, minimizing seams for enhanced comfort, flexibility, and durability. Overkill Seams and EZ-O Cuff: To maximize lifespan, we’ve utilized the most durable seam construction available. Our Overkill Seams start with a glued/blind-stitched seam, with the seam on the outside for maximum comfort. The external stitching is then coated with a liquid seam seal, sealing the stitch holes and providing a durable, flexible barrier against water entry. Inside the gloves, all of the stress areas (between each finger and where the wrist joins the palm panel) feature internal taping for an even greater level of protection. Just like our boots, our gloves integrate our EZ-O Cuff, which provides a seamless seal around the wrist but with a larger panel than all other gloves making the gloves easy on/off. Our EZ-O Cuff is also double laminated (inside and out) for max durability, whereas most other O-Ring cuffs feature a weaker non-lined interior. For reduced bulk, lighter weight, and easier on-off, the EZ-O cuff panel is reduced to 3mm thickness. Pre-Curved Fingers and Minimal Seams The 5:3 Split-Mitt has a pre-curved, anatomical shape out of the box, putting your hand and fingers in perfect paddling position without any strain on the hands/fingers. This shape reduces fatigue and allows longer, warmer, more comfortable sessions. Flexibility, durability, and comfort is also optimized with minimal seam construction. Most gloves feature 4 or more neoprene panels, reducing flexibility, comfort, and providing more seams to leak. The 5:3 Split-Mitt only has 3 panels: a single back panel, single palm panel, and EZ-O cuff panel. This simplified pattern results in incredible comfort, easy on/off, and versatile fit for a variety of hand shapes.

More tips below!
Why is there no tracking info for my order on the shipper’s web page? (0:25 in video)
It can take up to 48 hours for tracking info to display from when you receive our shipping confirmation email. Rest assured, your package is en route. Also, be sure to enter the BOL # (Bill of Lading) with no spaces in the tracking field.
How will I know which freight facility my board is being delivered to? (1:05 in video)
Your shipping confirmation email will include the freight facility’s contact info. If we are unable to find a freight facility within a 30-minute drive from you, we will reach out with other shipping options.
How will I know when my board is ready for pickup at a freight facility? (1:55)
The freight facility will contact you when your board is ready for pickup. Be sure to bring a photo ID, and be sure to check the facility’s pickup hours.
An employee at the freight facility is demanding I sign for my board shipment prior to me seeing it. What do I do? (2:30)
Sign your name followed by “on further inspection.” Signing in this manner offers protection. It gives us a 48 hour window for damage claims to be made with freight providers.
My board is being delivered to my house. Its tracking info says it reached its destination, but I don’t have my board. What gives? (3:05)
You will receive a call to schedule delivery soon. The call occurs shortly after your board reaches the freight company’s destination hub. Note that board deliveries require a signature, which demand a drop off appointment. If the shipping company hasn't called to schedule a delivery time, there's no need to put your life on hold by waiting at home.
How can I protect myself (and my board) from freight damage? (3:50)
Inspect the box. Look for signs of trauma like tire tread, severe creasing, or puncture holes. If these are present, and reveal fatal damage to your board, do not sign. Refuse the shipment. Call us at 541 386 6086, and we will get a replacement board headed your way.
What if the box shows some wear, but it’s tough to tell if the board is damaged? (4:40)
Sign your name followed by “on further inspection.” Signing in this manner offers protection. It gives us a 48 hour window for damage claims to be made with freight providers.
And if I do find damage to my board, what then? (5:20)
Send us photos. Closeups of the damaged area, and photos that show the interior and exterior box damage go far. Also, keep the packing materials. We’ll work with our shipping partners to get you either a damage credit or a replacement board.
I received my board, but no fins, foot straps, or vent plug ... (6:14)
Fins, foot straps and hardware are typically hidden in protective cardboard sleeves. Closely examine your packing materials. Each board shipment entails a thorough checklist. Everything is in there!
