Prolimit Predator FreeX 4/3 Hooded Men’s Wetsuit 2025
$349.00
Ride with confidence in the Predator wetsuit, designed for the modern rider craving performance, flexibility, and comfort. Crafted with durability and environmental consciousness, the Predator is your ultimate partner for conquering the waves and elevating your water adventures.
“The new Natureprene suits from ProLimit are my new go-to for the cold conditions here in the Gorge. So easy to get in and out of with a gooey stretch comparable to that of Technobutter. I’ve been using the 4/3 Predator Hooded this winter for SUP Foil and find it to be plenty warm when air & water temps are 40+ degrees. I recommend using the velcro ankle straps for kiting as they will balloon up with water without. No more gross petroleum against my skin, I’m all for a suit that is 100% neoprene free (and recyclable too!!).” – TJ, Big Winds Partner

Ride with confidence in the Predator wetsuit, designed for the modern surfer craving performance, flexibility, and comfort. The wetsuit balances warmth and flexibility, complemented by the innovative double lined Down Airlex and NaturePrene2® construction for a secure yet flexible fit. Effortless movement ensured in any water temperature. Constructed with premium 4mm NaturePrene2® around the body to provide essential heat retention, while the 3mm in the arms and legs ensures comfort and unrestricted mobility. The built-in hood boosts warmth within the wetsuit, while also offering extra insulation for added comfort around the neck and throat. The FSC certified NaturePrene2® material is 100% neoprene-free.
Enhanced warmth and comfort with Zodiac Jacquard velvet fleece on the inside, layered with quick-dry thermal fleece. It efficiently absorbs water from the skin, releases quickly, and enhances comfort during your sessions.
Equipped with an asymmetrical front zip for exceptional on-water performance. The panels are triple-glued and stitched together using a special method that partially punctures the material to maintain the watertightness of the wetsuit seam. Crafted with durability and environmental consciousness, the Predator is your ultimate partner for conquering the waves and elevating your surfing adventures.
NaturePrene2®
100% neoprene free
This is a revolutionary moment in wetsuit industry. From now on all our wetsuits will be 100% neoprene free and FSC and CE approved.
NaturePrene2® is a biobased rubber derived from FSC-certified rubber trees. With NaturePrene2®, you’ll enjoy the same stretch, warmth, insulation, and durability as our current lineup, all without compromising on cost.

Down AirFlex
Water-repellent and dry-wicking with the feel of down and the maximum stretch of our AirFlex neoprene, this unique material is featured on our Predator and Flare wetsuits. The SoftFeel, combined with the Velvet AirFlex2 lining, provides an unparalleled blend of comfort and performance.

GBS Seams
Triple glued panels are stitched together with a special stitching method. Partially puncturing the neoprene to keep the water tightness of the wetsuit seam. Each thread is protected by a tape at the end. Our perfect finish makes our glued and blind stitched wetsuit indestructible. Precise seam and material placement for a tailored fit. Designed to fit your body without over-stretching the neoprene, which prevents stretched out thin neoprene and loss of thermal insulation.

Zodiac 2 with Velvet Airflex
Zodic Jacquard velvet fleece on the inside, layered with a quick dry thermal fleece for more warmth and comfort. It absorbs the water from the skin, releases quickly and increases comfort. Velvet Airflex is softer than ever before, more stretch, comfortable feel and quickdry. Another milestone in wetsuit technology. Clearly recognizable because of the feel… smooth as velvet.

Free-X
Introducing the Free-X zipper featuring an asymmetrical YKK design that opens on one side, ensuring optimal warmth and comfort. This innovative zipper provides a secure fit while allowing for effortless entry and exit, enhancing your overall wetsuit experience.

100% Neoprene Free Material
From Petrol chemicals base to Limestone neoprene (mining mountains) to NaturePrene and now introducing NaturePrene 2 completely made with Natural Rubber harvested from FSC certified rubber tree plantations. USDA-certified and 80% natural rubber, 20% recycled carbon black and enriched with Oystershell powder and Soybean oil.

Water Based Glue
The laminated neoprene sheets are cut into panels and put together to create a neoprene product such as a wetsuit. The lamination of all our wetsuits is done with water based glue, so called aqua-a. Unlike the traditional glue, the water based glue is solvent free and without chemicals (it removes 99% of the impurities). This avoids latex allergies. Don’t worry! Of course the glue will not dissolve in water. We made sure that the glue is as strong as the traditional glue.

PAH, ROHS AND REACH COMPLIANT
Our wetsuits are PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) free and 100% reach compliant. Reach compliant means we have achieved to ban the use of extender oils in our neoprene sheets for a better znvironment. REACH is a
regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from risks that can be posed by chemicals in the production process.
The PAH neutral neoprene has improved characteristics such as weight and stretch, and it also prevents skin irritation. We banned the use of extender oils in our neoprene which is better for your skin and nature.

DOPE DYED YARNS
Before lamination we need to prepare lining fabrics. Prolimit uses the dope-dyeing process. This means that we don’t dye the fabric in our production process anymore. The traditional way of coloring has a high water consumption, using a lot of energy and producing a large amount of industrial waste water and toxic chemicals. Instead of the traditional and common way, we use the method of dope dyed yarns. Dope dyeing is an energy saving and a more environmental-friendly
method. Dope dyed yarns are made by adding colorant to the polymer melt in spinning. In short, we add the color before spinning. With this procedure in which we color the yarn without the dyeing process, we save 104L of water per kg of fabric. The advantages of dope dyeing are in line with our goal to produce products with respect for our planet.

The Forest Stewardship Council monitors and confirms that specific forest areas are being managed inline with the FSC principles and criteria.

Soybean Oil
One of the components to create NaturePrene2, the Soybean oil is edible oil extracted from soybean seeds. This is a 100% plantbased oil.

OYSTER SHELL POWDER
Harvested from scrap oystershell washed ashore the powder is an important enriching component for the blend in our Nature-Prene 2 rubber.

Eco Carbon Black
Carbon Black is a key ingredient to produce neoprene. Our eco carbon black is made from recycled tires. The tires are shredded and thereafter transformed into powdered carbon black. Unlike the traditional carbon black,
this method reduces the energy consumption and the CO2 emission by 200g per wetsuit.
