Alex Paquin –
i ride the 120, which I love. I initially had to tune it tho, so it wouldn’t whistle. I did the donaldson trailing edge sanding technique for the front, back wings and the mast on the heel side. That worked great. Also, i had to change the bolts as Lift’s were too big and didn’t quite fit well in the fuselage.
I use the 120 mainly for winging, and a bit for kiting as well, as i m trying to minimize the gear that i log around.
My set up;
120 HA front
32 glide back
82 mast
KT drifter 4’10@62l
I’m 195lbs
Style preference: strapless, no jumps, surf n swell, carves, speed
Overall, i love the set up and I personally would not go back to lower aspect foils. Things get a lot easier with more glide, and also upwind riding is much faster and easier on the arms and overall stoke.
