FEELING
Instinct feels extremely intuitive, stable and confidence inspiring. Lift comes on smoothly, pitch remains predictable, and stall resistance is unbelievable. The foil stays flying even when tips breach the surface, helping riders recover instead of stalling or dropping suddenly.
Due to lower aspect design, the Instinct remains fun to turn. It rolls smoothly rail to rail and does not feel locked in, making it enjoyable for Foil Assist sessions, towing, and early carving practice. The balance between stability and playfulness helps riders progress faster while still having fun.
AGILITY
Agility is moderate by design. Turns are smooth and controlled rather than fast or reactive, helping new riders stay balanced and avoid overcorrection. The lower aspect shape keeps the foil engaging without feeling unstable.
CONSTRUCTION
Carbon Composite Construction. Built using a durable carbon composite construction, Instinct is designed to handle repeated learning sessions, impact, and wear while maintaining consistent performance. The structure supports the large wing area and reinforces stability under load.
HIGHLIGHTS
PAIRING
KT’s recommended first-flight setup is the Instinct 2200 front wing, a 63 fuselage, and the Instinct 300 back wing. Instinct front wings also pair with Nomad and Atom back wings, and all parts are interchangeable within the entire KT Foiling range.

Epoxy Ding Stick
The Epoxy Stick is a hand-kneadable epoxy putty that mixes in a minute for making temporary or permanent repairs to any board, dry or wet. It contains a fading blue dye that becomes fiberglass white after mixing.
Works in fresh and salt water, and will bond to fiberglass, epoxy, wood, glass and metal. Doesn't yellow when exposed to sunlight. Cures in thirty minutes!
