By building it into the center section of the leading edge and strut and utilizing HTD Lite in the wingtips, we’ve created a wing that reacts faster, holds its shape longer, and gives back exactly what you put in. One of the unique properties of Aluula gold is the incredible ratio between stiffness and weight. Through prototyping design and development we found that the introduction of Aluula Gold to the centre section of the LE and the strut provided an immediate increase in performance and reactivity. The hybrid construction in the leading edge has allowed the wing to breath when in use, but at the same time increases the control and reaction through the Aluula center section.
