Where do we meet?
Most E-Foil Lessons will start at the Big Winds Lesson Center at the Hook. Head to the west end of Portway Avenue and take a right onto the gravel access road of the Hook. Continue to the bend in the road where you will see our big white lessons van.
Occasionally the instructor may contact you the day prior to change to another close by meeting location based on conditions. Be sure to check the email address and text number provided for communications from your instructor.

When should I show up?
Arrive 10 minutes in advance to sign a waiver and be fitted for a wetsuit, booties, PDF and helmet.
Why are lessons so early in the day?
The Gorge is known for its wind! The mornings are the best chance for low winds, calm waters and conducive E-Foil learning conditions.
Occasionally we may need to reschedule or refund an e-foil lesson if the conditions are too choppy. Check your email (including promotions/spam folders) and text messages before your lesson and feel free to text the shop at 541-319-8702 the day before your lesson to check conditions!
What should I bring?
Bring a towel, water bottle, and sunscreen. We provide the rest!
If you are taking an E-Foil Lesson early in the season and have your own cold water wetsuit, you may want to bring that as our thickest rental wetsuits are 4/3.
Do I Need to Sign a Waiver?
Yes! Each participant will need to sign a waiver. Waivers will be provided on location before your lesson.
Big Winds Waiver
What If I Need to Cancel?
Full refunds will be offered for cancellations made over 48 hours in advance or to customers who had their lessons cancelled because of the conditions. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your lesson will be offered a 50% refund. No shows will not receive a refund.
