The BULLET (SF) has truly become a classic and both defined and dominated downwind and fitness/touring for years.
The Bullet has won SUPConnect awards for Best Board Overall and Best All Around Board and won accolades from Men’s Health and Outside Magazine to mention a few. With this kind of legacy we had to take extra time and care on this newly designed Bullet to ensure that this updated shape was a significant evolution from its predecessors.
We kept and fine tuned the design starting with the rocker line which is similar to the back end of the Bullet v2 but with more nose rocker more closely related to the original Bullet v1 and F14. We added a similar nose and volume as the Bayonet which recovers extremely well when the board does poke. The deck shape sheds water quickly. The widened chisel tail and the squared up rails with forgiving under-tuck handle exceptionally well in side chop, side slipping into an ocean swell, and surfing waves as well as providing additional rail-to-rail stability. We added a slight convex to the bottom nose section to mitigate nose slap when paddling head to wind.
The Bullet (SF) handles any condition even better than its predecessors while being faster, more stable, forgiving, and more durable.

A very much anticipated series!
This board has been years in the making as the Bullets from 2019 and previous have truly become a class of their own for not only downwind paddling, where it has won innumerable races, but also for touring, fitness, and beyond. The Bullet could always handle any condition and now it will handle it even better while being faster, more stable and forgiving, and more durable.
We added a similar nose and volume as the Bayonet which pokes and recovers extremely well. The increased peak at the center chine of the decking at the bow helps to shed water quickly to free up the nose and maintain planing speed. The chisel tail has also been widened to increase rail-to-rail stability along with the squared-up rails.
On the bottom, the shape is quite similar to the previous Bullets, however we added a slight convex bottom profile in the bottom nose section to mitigate nose slap when paddling head to wind inspired by the RS nose. The Bullet could always handle any condition and now it will handle it even better while being faster, more stable and forgiving, and more durable.
CONSTRUCTION
SF – Full PVC Sandwich with Carbon: SIC’s highest end SUP construction with a full PVC sandwich wrapping the EPS core (top, bottom, 360 degree rails) for a light, stiff and damp feeling core. The board is wrapped in carbon and glass providing a world class construction that is strong, light and stiff. Combine with great shapes will make for the highest end boards available on the market. These boards are molded to ensure great lamination strength and that every board is precisely like the master shaped by Mark Raaphorst.

It can take 48 hours for tracking info to display. Rest assured, your package is en route. Make sure to enter the BOL # (Bill of Lading) with no spaces in the tracking field.
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico?
Yes, we have shipped to these locations for decades by quote. Please share your address, the item(s) you needed shipped, and if an airport cargo depot pickup is possible.
Canada and International Locations?
We ship to Canada lots, and the Caribbean some. Get a quote. We rarely ship items to Europe, Asia, and Australia as it's spendy. Quotes for international orders do not include import duties.
How Can I Be Sure My Board Arrives Intact?

What if My Board Arrives Damaged?
We'll work with our shipping partner to get you a repair credit or a replacement board. Please send photos of the damaged board (and box) to shipping@bigwinds.com.

But no foot straps, fins, or vent plug?
Look closely through the packaging. Fins, foot straps and vent plugs are often concealed in a sheath of cardboard that's easy to discard. Also, check inside the board box, and shake the box to be sure. You'll likely dislodge a small box containing the missing items.

We'll work with freight partners for the lowest possible rate. Delivery time is 7-10 business days. Quotes typically land in the $350 - $500 range, though Big Winds will often cover a portion of this fee. Get a quote.
International Board Delivery
Board shipping rates for most international destinations are extremely pricey. But we can ship boards to Canada for as low as $275 plus duties and taxes. We can also stow your board for an upcoming Gorge visit, and help with a board bag and packing materials to ensure it flies home with you safely.
