The 2023 Unit features MOD3, a new canopy that dramatically enhances power, hang time and drift stability. From the first pump, the MOD3’s power is tangible. Get flying sooner, and go smaller. The 2023 Unit’s improved grunt and low-end power allows a smaller wing in hand.

The higher modulus MOD3 maintains the wing’s shape integrity, while doubling strength in warp direction with 3 times* the stretch resistance in bias direction compared to traditional canopies. The result is power, draft stability, and a wing that remains fresh like its day one.

But it’s not just the canopy that makes the 2023 Unit better. We’ve optimized the dihedral angle, as well as the tip and strut twist for better drift stability when surfing or flying through basic maneuvers. The extra lift and power deliver more hang time when jumping.

A stronger front handle with better stand-off improves the surfing characteristics. To improve visibility, Ken Winner implemented the window layout from the Slick SLS. Whether you love drawing flowing lines in the surf and open ocean swells, lift and hang time in tacks and jumps or simply like riding with extra horsepower in your engine, the 2023 Unit is yet again another step ahead of the pack!
