The Starboard Nitro is finally here! Sam gets out on the river this week at Viento and the Hatchery to give us the run down on the all new Nitro. We gave it a pretty extensive test in varying conditions. Flat water, waves, heavy wind and light wind to be able to give you the best take on the Nitro as possible! The Nitro is one of the most fun wings to ride in the waves that we have tried here at the shop, it gives you the “stoke smiles” when you get into the waves on it! Likes:
- Great low end power
- Super lightweight (thank you Hookipa)
- Extremely stable when holding it from the transfer handle
- Very stiff frame
- Direct feel
Dislikes:
- Gets overpowered easily
- Handles are far apart for smaller riders
