GOYA CARRERA CARBON: FREE-RIDE/FREE-CARVE ON JET FUEL
The Carrera Carbon sailing experience prioritizes agility, packing horsepower into the board’s supreme build. The new shapes are shorter with a wider tail, yet narrower than the Volar Carbon, giving the new Carrera Carbon a wonderful touch of new school single fin feel. The Carrera Carbon boards fit between the One 3 Carbon and the Volar Carbon. Very fast to plane yet easier to gybe than the Volar.
The Carrera Carbon free-carve models are slightly narrower than their Volar free-ride siblings. They target advanced riders looking for a lively board that’s easier to trim on the tail, and while on rail.
There was a time when only race boards were built like the Carrera Carbon. There is no other Free-carve board built like it today. It utilizes a full carbon deck construction bringing the ultimate speed and lightness sensation to a broader audience. A sensation that up until now only racers could experience.
The Carrera Carbon is best matched with the Nexus Free-ride sail, Mark or Mark X. From rough seas to lighter winds to calmer lake conditions, the Carrera Carbon is jaw-droppingly fast and fun to carve. The new 2023 shapes expand the boards’ wind-range and responsiveness. Inspired by the success of the Proton Pr, we moved moved the volume flow further back, reduced overall length, keeping the rails more parallel further back, and most importantly, modifying the rocker and flat spot to improve overall control of the board.
The Carrera Carbons take off in light of breezes and fly through the lulls. The whole bottom sits just on top of the water, and from the foot straps you can maintain total control and perfect trim. Entry into jibes and exit speed out has also improved significantly, making these boards an absolute joy to ride or race with your friends.

It can take 48 hours for tracking info to display. Rest assured, your package is en route. Make sure to enter the BOL # (Bill of Lading) with no spaces in the tracking field.
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico?
Yes, we have shipped to these locations for decades by quote. Please share your address, the item(s) you needed shipped, and if an airport cargo depot pickup is possible.
Canada and International Locations?
We ship to Canada lots, and the Caribbean some. Get a quote. We rarely ship items to Europe, Asia, and Australia as it's spendy. Quotes for international orders do not include import duties.
How Can I Be Sure My Board Arrives Intact?
Opt for our $99 "To Nearby Airport" shipping option at checkout. It relies on passenger planes, and offers our safest delivery. More far below.
What if My Board Arrives Damaged?
We'll work with our shipping partner to get you a repair credit or a replacement board. Please send photos of the damaged board (and box) to shipping@bigwinds.com.

But no foot straps, fins, or vent plug?
Look closely through the packaging. Fins, foot straps and vent plugs are often concealed in a sheath of cardboard that's easy to discard. Also, check inside the board box, and shake the box to be sure. You'll likely dislodge a small box containing the missing items.

We'll work with freight partners for the lowest possible rate. Delivery time is 7-10 business days. Quotes typically land in the $350 - $500 range, though Big Winds will often cover a portion of this fee. Get a quote.
International Board Delivery
Board shipping rates for most international destinations are extremely pricey. But we can ship boards to Canada for as low as $275 plus duties and taxes. We can also stow your board for an upcoming Gorge visit, and help with a board bag and packing materials to ensure it flies home with you safely.
